Regular Strap Maintenance

For trouble-free and reliable heart monitoring with the MyKARDI chest strap, regular maintenance is important.

Never use alcohol or chemical cleaning agents on the chest strap.

How to care for the strap

Do not stretch or bend the chest strap

Avoid excessive stretching and bending of the chest strap at sharp angles, especially the rubber parts with electrodes.

Store the strap and sensor separately Dry and store the strap and sensor separately. After each measurement, disconnect at least one electrode from the chest strap to prolong battery life.

Cleaning the sensor

Dry the sensor with a soft towel after the measurement. If necessary, you can clean the sensor connector with a mild soapy solution.

Rinse the chest strap after measurement After each use, disconnect the sensor from the chest strap and rinse the strap with running water.
